Listing description draft-revision worksheet
Work on one passage at a time. Use details you have already verified in your property records or property facts worksheet; this page helps shape the draft, not establish new facts.
1. Make the passage easier to follow
Keep the useful, verified detail. Put the main point first, use concrete wording, and split a sentence when it carries more than one idea.
| Draft sentence or phrase | Verified detail to preserve | Clearer revised wording |
|---|---|---|
2. Remove claims the facts do not support
If a claim cannot be tied to a verified property detail, remove it. If a narrower detail is verified, replace the claim with that detail; otherwise leave it out.
| Unsupported claim or phrase | Remove it, or write the narrower verified detail |
|---|---|
When the draft revision is complete, use the separate listing-copy final-review checklist for the publishing-stage review.
